st-didacusSt. Didacus, born in Spain was a holy lay brother of the Order of St. Francis. He led a life perfect in the observance of the vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience. He died in the odor of sanctity in 1463; and was canonized a

hundred years later by St. Pius V.
