St. Agapitus

AgapitusThe Roman Martyrology commemorates today Agapitus who, at the age of fifteen was put to death with a sword at Praeneste in Italy. His tomb has recently been found with the inscription “Agapitus, pray for me.” His body was transferred to Corneto in 1437.
